My special naughty Elf ♥

I got surprise Christmas gift and I've been naughty all year ? Whassup with that ? I think it was one of old Santa's little elves. That one that when no one is looking takes a big swig of eggnog loaded with rum. The little elf that sticks her tongue out and crosses her eyes when someone's taking a picture, this is my very favorite elf.
I was totally blown away by my gifts, look at these goodies ! This little elf knows me so well. I guess she had been carefully watching me this year and knew about my sweet doggy Lucy and made me a little Lucy doll. She knew how much I loved prim Snowgirls and reesecups♥. That little stinker elf even knew how I hated Lucy's smelly pit bull farts and sent along a sweet little stocking with some awesome room spray from Blackberry Briar, some Twilight Woods Lotion and a sweet sweet Snowman mitten. That little elf even knew I put ole Chuck in the doghouse quite often and included some candy coal for him to eat when he is in the doghouse. Even sent along some icicles knowing how much doghouse Chuck loves them on the tree. Being the dog loving elf that she is, her dogs sent my pack candy cane rawhides, now how cool is that !

I love my special little elf and all the goodies she sent. I don't care what the other elf's say, your the BEST ! ;)~~ Thanks for making my Christmas so special.

♥ My early Christmas Gift ♥ Holiday Decor

My sweet hubby asked me what I wanted for Christmas and as always, I wanted something for the house. This year I asked him to build me this little Tombstone Cupboard. Call me silly but I would rather have this than diamonds or gold. I spend most of my time at home, its where I love to be and be surrounded by things that make me feel good.
Here are pictures of my Tombstone Cupboard and a few Holiday Decorations.

A roll ON the hay.

Im sure you've heard of a roll in the hay but how about a roll ON the hay ?
Well that's my Lucy girl, she roll's in it , on it, all over it, she don't care.
Everyday on our walk Miss Lucy jumps on the round bales of hay in our pasture. She jumps on and off over and over. But yesterday she found part of a turtle shell , grabbed it up and ran straight to a bale of hay and laid there so contently chewing on her new found treasure. As always, I had my cell phone so I was able to snap these adorable pictures of my love bug.

I really wanted to get a nice shot of the dogs to send to my furry loving friends.
Man, its hard if not impossible to get these 3 to all set still for 10 seconds to snap a picture. So I got Chuck to try to help me,key word "try". He was making them set and speak for treats which didn't work so well but with a little photo editing we came up with this little Holiday Greeting.
Notice the treat at the top corner of this picture. :)

Taa daa !
More to come, but for now...

Lucy, doing the Lucy Roll...

She does this every morning. While I'm at my desk, she takes her Kong bone and rolls and rolls across the floor on it. Sometime's Biscut can't resist jumping on her. :)))

They're back !

We keep deer feeders out pretty much year around. After a record breaking ice storm in our area back the first of the year there have been very few deer at the feeder. I can't help but wonder if some of the were killed by falling trees. Or maybe they were scared to death and afraid to venture out. I know for us it was very scary and we knew what was going on.
We are slowly starting to see more of them once again. There is a momma doe (above) who has a ear that is flipped over, I have seen her. One I have not seen since last gun season is a huge buck who had a torn year. We had seen him for years. Everytime we get picture on our SD card I rush them in to see if "Bucky" is on there. So far I have not seen him. I worry he has been shot or the ice storm got him. Deer move fast but our ice storm was like a war zone, I don't see anyway they could of avoided falling limbs and trees. If I ever see him again you cab bet I will be posting pictures.

Mammoth Spring State Park

I wanted to share with everyone some pictures I took Saturday. A couple friends & I made a little road trip, along the way we stopped by Mammoth Spring State Park. I had hoped capture some of the fall colors but we have had so much rain & wind there wasn't many leaves left.
I had also hoped to have lots of pictures of our finds in the Antique stores we went to but sadly we didn't find any finds. Everything was over priced or down right yucky. But we still had a blast. Here are a few pictures of the park.
Here is the link to Mammoth Springs State Park if by chance your ever in the area, its really a beautiful, historical place with lots of walking trails, ducks & geese. http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/mammothspring/

The old Damn.

Mammoth Spring flows at an average hourly rate of almost 10 million gallons of 58-degree water, which makes Spring river an excellent place to fish for Trout & canoe.

I could have spent the whole day here.

There were so many more things to see and take pictures of but my friends were ready to move on to the antique stores.
