Look What We Found

~~UPDATE 5-8~~ ALL 3 puppies have new been adopted and gone to their new homes ! :)

I got a phone call earlier today that there where 3 puppies in a ditch on the side of the road. They had been there at least since Saturday. Just as soon as I told Chuck he got in his truck and went looking for them. It didn't take him long to find them. They were curled up in the ditch but when they heard him whistle they came a running for his truck and were happy to get in with him. Full of ticks and starving. All their little ribs bones and hip bones were showing. They will have to go to a shelter as soon as we can find one with room. But for now their bellies are full they have a warm bed, no ticks and love. They seem like such happy dogs to have been left like they were. I get so upset at people for doing such horrid things but then I think of all the people who drove by and never did anything to help them. I get sick thinking I'm surrounded by that many heartless people.

you and Chuck are so sweet Pam! Thank you for actually stopping to help and not just wanting to. The pups are so sweet looking, especially the Black one! Dogs are amazing creatures!

I know your heart is gonna break when it comes time to say goodbye, thank goodness you and Chuck came along!

I love this story. I have tears in my eyes at the heartless people who would do this, and yes to those who drove by. I will never understand how anyone can not have a heart for animals, especially those in need. Thank God there are people like you and me and all the others who care.

Pam, I found 3 puppies in an alligator infested fenced yard in Florida, that we rescued, the puppies could not get out without the help of us. Someone dumped them. I brought them home, got them use to people, gave them food, a great place to sleep, and lots of love. I kept them for 2 months. I placed two of them in a no-kill shelter, which they later found forever homes. I kept the most timid one named her Cinnamon, and she is still with us to this day, 8 years old and the sweetest, gentlest dog I have ever had. She adores us and we adore her. Everyone should adopt a homeless pet. They will be forever loved.
Thanks

Hi Cheryl, Im so happy you too took time to help some fur babies. We took these to the shelter yesterday.Although we did it to help them we left feeling so bad.And every time I turn around there are more to help. Rescues know and appreciate it that we have helped them, that's what I think at least. ;) ~~Pam

Hi Pam, They were just young puppies, poor little things. I was thinking to, of all the people that had drove by...

Always thinking someone else will stop. So terrible.

So nice of you and Chuck to go and get them, I am sure they were thankful.

Blessings,
~Tonya
