Updates!

Happy Spring! ..or is it? LOL, if it were not for the calender Im not sure if we would think its winter or spring. Our day time temps have been going from 50 up to 80. Ah well,it seems it is that way for most everyone these days.

There has been a whole lot going around here and since I have not updated my blog in quite some time I thought I had better catch everyone up on what is going on.
As many of you know I am member of a very talented group of artists, To Dwell In Primitive Thymes. After many wonderful years together they have decided to close the doors to our online Mercantile (TDIPT). Its been a great honor to be among such talent and I'm really going to miss them all. :(
Also I had been in the process of revamping our website, GoldieLoo Woodworks. I have since decided for the time being I will strictly sale on Etsy. My website will still be there with a link to find our Etsy store. I have around 114 items there now and will be adding much much more before fall.
For those of you who do not use Etsy and would like to order directly you can go there just as you did our website and look our stuff there and if there is something you would like to order just drop me a email along with what you would like to order & your zip code and I’ll get right back with you. I will eventually get most of our items from the website over to the our Etsy store such as the game boards, black boards and many of the signs. There will be some that I will discontinue to sale.
And as always all of my new items will be posted here on my blog as well so my fellow bloggers can see whats new with me. :)

To see these and a whole lot more please click on the link. Thanks!~~Pam

A new sign that I have in my etsy shop.

Here is a tiny bit of what Mr. & Mrs. GoldieLoo Woodworks has been up to. Chuck's been doing a bit of “Dirt Fishing”. Most people would call this stuff trash but it is tiny treasure's to us. None of it has any value, some of it was have no idea what it is but all of it has a story to tell. Here is part of a old school desk, you know it has a lot of stories to tell. One of the things I found so interesting is the top off of a old condom tin,it reads 3 Merry Widows, we think it dates back tot he 30’s. I wonder how they came up with that name? lol I didn't know they made them that long ago.

If anyone can identify any of the items below,we would love to know. Some things such as the school desk, lids, cow ear tag we know but the iron item to the righ we have no idea.

If anyone knows what the copper looking GE thing is we would love to know.

And here is what Chuck does when he is bored. He made this sweet little replica Medicine cabinet, I just adore it. Needless to say, I love for him to go bored. ;)

I snapped this picture of a old barn at my friends palce the other day. Ive always loved it. Notice the old tractor inside.

New stuff for January.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
Im starting out the new year with 4 new designs on my TDIPT Mercantile page.

These are not the best pictures of them. We have had rain or snow for several days now,not a lick of sunshine. I'm not complaining, just not good weather for picture taking. ;)
For information about these just click right *here* :)

Dog Day's Of Winter

We didn't get the White Christmas I had hoped for but we did get a white, blizzard like Christmas night and woke up to about 8" of beautiful snow. I think the dogs were more excited about it than I.

This is little miss Tiger Lilly BEGGING me to take her for a walk. How could I say No to that sweet face?!
Mr. Biscuit~Seems his goal in every walk we take  is to stay ahead of us all and whiz on as many things as possible.
It amazes me that at night when we take them out to do their "business" they seem to hate the snow and don't want to walk out in it but as you can see during the day light hours they LOVE the snow.

Can you see the doggies? lol, I think they were planning on hiding from me ;)
Biscuit stopped to stike a pose for me. I had to snap fast, he had dozens more places and things to pee on. lol
They Ran....

..and they ran...

..and like the song by A Flock Of Seagulls goes..they just ran...

...they ran all night and day.

they couldn't get away ;)

I don't know how long they could have went on running but after a hour of it I decided we better head back to the house.

"where is that nut case Tiger Lilly dog?"

"Oh my gawsh, where could crazy Lucy be?"

It's hard to believe this is the same sickly dog that came to us 10 months ago.
Looks like Tiger will always be blind in her left eye but she is learning to get around really well. She still bumps into us or the wall once in awhile but you would'nt know she was blind in her eye to see her running out doors.
The walk home, slowing down just a little now to smell some things.
Lucy has that CRAZY look on her face.
Almost home.
Hoping for another snow day soon!
