Too Early for Halloween ? Bring it on !

OK, the 4th is over I'm gearing up for Halloween. Its my favorite time of the year. From Halloween it is just a count down to my third and second favorite times of the year which is Thanksgiving and Christmas.Summer has been nice but now it is too hot and humid so the thoughts of nice cool Autumn days sound sweet.I don't mean to even wish the days away. I try to enjoy each day to the fullest.....still, like a child anticipating Santa at Christmas ... I cant wait for Halloween.

I have made a BIG MESS !

I must apologize for the mess I have our blog in right now. I was TRYING to spruce it up a bit and somehow in the process lost quite a bit of my information. Which included all my blogs links I had exchanged. So I will be contacting all of you bloggers I share links with again soon to get your address. If I don't happen to contact you, because I may have a hard time ( I have CRS ;))remembering everyone...please let me know so that I can get your link back up. I hope to have this all back in tip top shape again ASAP. One day I have to learn to leave things alone ! ;) Sorry yall.

Marley's Made the Big Screen !

Yippieeee, Marley's made the Big Screen !

Marley & Me is one of my very favorite books. It made me laugh and made me cry. I could relate to the stories as I have had so many similar things to happen to me with my dogs. I was so HAPPY to hear that the movie Marley & Me was going to be out this winter and to top it off starring two of my favorite actors Jennifer Aniston & Owen Wilson.
I was also happy to learn that the Author and Marley's dad John Grogan has a new Marley...well sorta kinda. For all you that have read the story about that wild & crazy Marley you can go here to read what I'm talking about. (Be sure to read "A Dog Named Woodson ")

Kool-Aid Lemon Pie

This Kool-Aid Lemon Pie was the hit of the pool party today ! I thought some of you might like to give it a try. I don't know how anything that tastes so good can be so easy.
I used fat free ingredients and it was still every bit as good.

Recipe:

1. 1) One can of Eagle Brand milk
2. 2) two pks unsweetened lemonade Kool-Aid mix .....use electric mixer to combine #1 & #2
3. 3) add one container Cool Whip ....pour into ready-made graham cracker crust.
