Happy Halloween

My favorite day of the year has arived. The reason Halloween is my favorite is that it means Thanks Giving and Christmas are right behind. And they are 2 more of my favorite days.

I hope each of you have a safe and fun Halloween with lots & lots of them yummy little snickers bars.:).....also my favorite.

OHHH NO, not again!

What a headache ! I decided to do my blog up for the upcoming Holidays but as before when I went to change it I lost all my links. It may take a few weeks but I will get it all back up. And then no more changing backgrounds for me. :)

The Old Water Wheel on my girls day out.

I went for a girls day out today to Old Hardy town near by. This little town is settled at the foothills of the Ozarks and sets along the beautiful spring river. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. If you are ever traveling North East Arky this is a fun little area. Lots of good fishing and canoeing along the beautiful spring river. Lots of nice Antique shops and specialty shops too. Between Hardy and home is a old Water Wheel. I used to get so excited about stopping there and taking walks, watching the fish and feeding the ducks. Once such a pretty place to stop and admire the little creek and take nature walks over the bridges into the woods. Over time the property has been sold and it has been leased out of all things a flea market ! I like a good flea market but not is such a pretty area. I found out today there are some new owners so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will restore it. Here are a few shots I took of one of the bridges & Old Wagon wheel.
