A Old House Place On A Snowy Day

Snow, this word has become the new naughty four letter word for many and understandably so.So many have been hit so hard by it this winter.
My area of Arkansas got 14" in a 2 week period. That's a lot of snow for our area. Though I'm enjoying seeing this sun shine for a change, I know come August I'm going to be missing the beautiful snow we got in Arkansas.
The last snow we got I had hubby take me to this old house. I LOVE this old place. Its about 5 miles from me out in the Boonies.

I often wonder how old these Oak tree's are and the stories they could tell.

Usually I wont step on the porch for fear of bees or snakes this time for fear of it falling in with me. I was dying to peak inside.

This old cream/milk can has been hanging over the fence post for years.

Knocked up, indeed! LOL Hey Pammie! Thanks for stopping by.

This is such a pretty post. Wish Id've been there. I woulda made you go inside with me....we might've had to huddled together in the hole we made in the porch and wait to be rescused, but it still would've been fun!

Pammie,

Those photos would make some neat greeting cards and calendar photos ! Taken in all the seasons..

so quaint and realistic with the wringer washer and the ol wood chair sitting on the porch ..

time has stood still...

Hugs,
Linda P. S. I remember getting my fingers stuck in the wringer quite a few times while helping my Mom with the wash trying to pull through heavy clothes and rag rugs !
