♥ I Love Lucy ♥

I love Lucy, Chuck loves Lucy and I can't imagine how anyone who ever met her could not love Lucy but someone didn't. Someone dumped her on the side of a country rode about 12 miles from the closest town. She was found at the end of someone's driveway to scared to come to their house. They finally persuaded her to come home with them where they tried to find her a home and where about to give her to a Pit Bull breeder when I found out and begged them to give her to me. Chuck went and picked her up Friday. She must have around 100 ticks sucking the life out of her. Although she was being fed she was and is still very skinny. Of course she was in heat, maybe that's why her former ...not people...I can not/will not call them people...I call them low life's...maybe that is why they decided to just drop her of on the side of a road. What makes these low life's think a domestic animal can be dropped off and take care of itself. And why there are still so many low life's in the country that are still abandoning their pets is beyond me. I wish I had a built in radar so that when I'm out in public I could automatically detect these LL's. I have always done my best to treat others with respect and as I wish to be treated. But anyone who could treat a animal like this I refuse to give the time a day to. So, I would love to know who they are so that I don't even have to waist my breath saying hi to them any longer.
I don't think Miss Lucy is very old, maybe a year. She already knows how to fetch, loves to play ball and she is house broke !
Lucy is now our foster dog. I truly believe she is a real life clown in a dog costume.

Please wish Lucy lots of luck. ♥

Awww! She is beautiful! Are you going to keep her? I too have a dog named Lucy, she is an Australian Shepherd that someone (LL) dumped out in the country a couple of miles from us. We have had Lucy for 9 years now. She is a stinky girl but we love her. (true farm dog rolls in everything that stinks!)

oh... Lucky is just a precious sweet girl - I love Lucy too!!

Bless your heart buddy for giving this girl the devotion she deserves. I often wonder if my bratcats remember life in the shelter. Either way, they are happy now, just as I know Lucy is!

What a sweet girl ♥

Thanks Yall. Lucy is doing great.
Jane, all my dogs must be farm dogs, they roll in everything , every chance they get. I keep lots of wet wipes around. They hate them.

Pam, I sincerely hope that Lucy has found a life-time home w/you, not just a Foster Home.

I'm hoping that Sharon Miles Logan County Animal Shelter auction in KY will be a huge success tomorrow. Thanks for helping me find some suitable animal things to be auctioned off!!!

Man, I'd love to get my hands on people who just abandon animals simply because they don't want to be bothered with them anymore.
She's gorgeous! I don't blame you for wantin' to keep her.
Now you need to get her a sidekick and name her Ethel.:> )

Hey Marsha, Im keeping my fingers & toes crossed that Sharon's auction goes well. She has worked so hard.
If need be Lucy has a life time home right there.♥

Peanut,I think these same kind of people are like the ones that litter our country just as you show in your pictures on your blog. No respect for anything.

Hi - I haven't visited you in quite a while and am so happy to see that you've rescued this pooch. I agree with you 100% about low life people being everywhere and think absolutely nothing of dumping their pets b/c they've become too much trouble or whatever.

Lucy is a lucky girl and I'm so glad you saved her from a life of hell.

My best to you, Chuck and Lucy!!!!!

Pam, Thank God for caring, good people like you and your husband. That story is so heartbreaking, but you sure made it into a beautiful one. She really does look so very happy. What a difference you've made in the life of a precious dog! I'm so happy for all of you. XO

"I LOVE LUCY" she is a beauty. What a sweetheart you guys are to take her in. I agree with you LL"S in capitol letters, wouldn't it be great if we animal lovers could figure out who they were in public and treat them like they have treated these sweet lovable adorable, fur babies, and do the same to them. It pisses me off to no end, that anyone human could harm these babies. I wish Lucy the best, a forever family to love her and keep her forever to the end, and to bless you and yours for caring so deeply for her
